Waning Flowers of a World Eternal – The Rainbow Appears After Flowering Rain (Karenai Sekai to Owari Hana or KareSeka) includes a main route with sequential branching-off points for additional scenes with each of its four heroines. Adult Content
If you have purchased the Steam version of Waning Flowers of a World Eternal, you can download the 18+ DLC via Patch.moe.
To add the adult patch, Extract the contents of the .zip file and either:
- Run Kareseka_Steam_R18patch.exe and follow the directions [for me this was select language > click Next > make sure the destination Folder is steamapps/common/Waning Flowers of a World Eternal or wherever you have the game installed > Install]
- Move the adult.xp3 file to the folder you have the game installed to, the same folder as sweet_01kareseka.exe
Epilogue
The epilogue menu is unlocked after reaching the end at least once and can be accessed from the title menu. Each heroine has a separate scene depending on which one you end up with based on your choices.
Route Structure
Waning Flowers of a World Eternal’s main story plays out largely the same regardless of which heroine you choose, but you get a few additional scenes (namely character-specific romance and H scenes) depending on which you choose, particularly late in the playthrough.
Heroine choices appear sequentially based on their respective sections of the story. It functionally works in a ladder style, where committing to one heroine locks out the later choices.

Yukina
- Because she’s family.
- Because I want to protect you, Yukina.
Haru
- Because she’s family.
- Because I think of you as family.
- I want to protect you.
Ren
- Because she’s family.
- Because I think of you as family.
